What a blustery day! Wow! The wind has been blowing the trees around, it’s amazing how much they can move without breaking…. I’m totally “blown away” (Ha! Love the pun 🙂 It’s almost like watching a dance as the wind blows the trees to and fro… but the music of “howling wind” gives a bit of Halloween that we’re already starting to feel in the air around us… (Our family LOVES Halloween, and my child spends all year contemplating the costume they will wear… It’s not far now! but.. I’m off the point of “rainy day”).
When I’m having a moment of being stuck inside, creatively speaking, I will often look out the window… Today’s window views are so incredible that I’m now stuck looking out the window as I am rapt by what I see. This is not a bad thing, because – this rainy day dance I see is unique and amazing all on its own. The wind dancing with the trees is not something I see from these windows – at least with this amount of flair – that often. The memory of seeing this wild moment of weather will carry me through, and I look forward to sneaking that energy into an upcoming piece… Oh, and the exciting moment of hail that just happened, what an opening of the sky! Wow!
